Save Money Through Utility Switching

Did you know, the average UK household pays £37,331 more than they should on bills, during their lifetime? Yes- you read that right, almost £40,000.

Despite the energy price cap, The National Audit Office (NAO) announced in a report earlier this year that Ofgem, the governments regulator for gas and electricity, have allowed companies to rake in larger profits, at the expense of consumers. Gareth Davies, the head of NAO, explained that customers are being saddles with ‘higher than necessary costs’, but billpayers could cut back their costs by shopping around for cheaper deals.

How to save money on your utility bills

The recent pandemic has forced people to stay indoors, meaning your utility bills, such as gas and electricity, are likely to be higher than normal. However, you could save some extra cash by regularly comparing deals and never allowing your fixed term to expire.
