Our favourite Christmas dessert recipes

For many of us, the best thing about Christmas is the food, wouldn’t you agree? Christmas dinner aside, the endless servings of tasty, sweet treats make this my favourite time of year, and I thought it would be nice to share some of my favourite recipes with you. Even if you’re not much of a baker, some of them couldn’t be easier!

Quick Christmas Cake

Making a traditional Christmas Cake can be no easy feat, but who doesn’t love a challenge? Whilst some can take weeks to soak, this recipe on Olive is just as tasty and only take a couple of days to prepare. This lightly spiced fruit cake with ginger, orange, alcohol, sheets of marzipan and fondant icing will serve 12 people – unless you go for seconds, which I’m sure you will!
