Answers to common Debt Arrangement Scheme questions

Will it affect my credit history?

Your DAS will appear on a publicly available DAS Register. Your credit rating may also be impacted for up to six years, from the day it starts.

Can I still get credit?

You’ll need to gain permission from your DAS administrator before taking out more credit. Our concern here would be that you’re not able to manage your repayments. If this is the case, please contact us as soon as possible. Also please note, as you will be repaying less towards your debts each month, you will be in debt for a longer period.
