How and why to set up a Direct Debit for your debt solution

If you’re on a Debt Management Plan (DMP) or IVA with us, you’ll understand how important it is to make your scheduled payments on time. After all, missing some could actually extend the term of your solution. For that reason, and for your convenience, setting up a Direct Debit with us is the easiest way to keep on top of your payments and will mean that if your payments ever change, you won’t have to do anything. And more importantly, you’ll be protected by the Direct Debit guarantee if we ever take a payment incorrectly. So, how do you set one up?

Download our app

First things first, the easiest way to set up your Direct Debit is to download the Financial Wellness Group app from Google Play or the App Store. From there, log in using your online account details and you’re good to go.

Set it up in less than a few minutes

Once you’re logged in, click the ‘More’ icon on your homepage, then the ‘Payments’ button. From there, you’ll be asked to enter your sort code and account number and the date you’d like your payments to be collected. Please note, if you ever need to check when your next payment date is, make your way back to that page and all the details will be there.
